A recent kitchen organizing project in Evanston, IL illustrates how the MOREganized team got rid of clutter and restored order, just in time for summer entertaining.
Because our clients love to cook as a family and to host friends for dinners and barbeques, we set up zones for salad making, grilling, baking, and beverage preparation.
To that end, we emptied and decluttered cabinets and drawers, then organized them according to content and function.
For example, we reviewed all kitchen utensils and small appliances, organizing “like with like”, and decluttered by donating duplicates. (We have a comprehensive list of charities in Evanston and other north suburban locations.)
We organized the spices and consolidated them into one drawer, so all are up-to-date, identifiable, and accessible.
The result — an organized kitchen with less clutter and more room to work and eat and entertain.
